On the 1st of February we in 6th class were delighted to invite Kerry Kefir into our classroom. We were given an insight into the world of start up business. Mary Thea Brosnan from Castleisland started this business 5 years ago from her kitchen. She explained to the children the concept of Kefir, the science of Kefir and the of course the health benefits.
The children asked an array of questions from design and production, marketing and technology strategies to finally communication and finance.
We learned that being an entrepreneur you must truly put in the work to reap the benefits.
