Junior Infants had lots of fun today. We are learning about Africa at the moment, so it was great to have our drumming teacher in this morning as he has lots of lovely African drums. Our new sounds today was ee and or. We loved making the sound with the ears action. We learnt a new poem about African animals and did lots of fun activities in our workbooks. We did lots of movement breaks by dancing and our Daily mile too. During Aistear we are visiting the African market, some of us enjoyed the sand tray today and drawing animals with stencils. Some children played with the dolls house too.
