September in Junior Infants
Take a look at what our Junior Infants have been up to on their first month of school. In Aistear we looked at homes. We did lots of Fine Motor skills to strengthen our hands for handwriting. On Tuesdays we went swimming. Thursdays we practiced some football skills with Tom. We even began learning some of our Jolly Phonics. In Gaeilge we learned how to say our names and the parts of the body. Our favourite song was 'Lamh Lamh Eile'. Maths we played with some really cool ICT games and we used some maths resources to sort, count, classify sets. What a busy month Junior Infants have had. Miss Carroll is delighted to report that all Junior Infants have settled really well into school life and cant wait for the exciting year ahead.
